Map: Custom-built competitive map for showcase
Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a new Competitive 2v2 / 3v3 Mode - that’s basically a Gunfight-style mode — small teams, fast rounds.
What’s inside this preview:
- Round-based elimination – first team to 7 wins
- 60s rounds, friendly fire ON, NO health regen in round
- Last team standing takes the round
- Health tiebreakers if time runs out (draw if same HP - nobody get point)
- Side swaps for fairness
- Ready-up system before match starts
- Team switching allowed during pre-match phase
- Custom scoreboard with round info, timers & team health
- Countdown timers for round starts + halftime
- Spawn logic is implemented (before match and during match)
- Logic built with variables so it’s easy to tweak
Competitive tweaks for now:
- Assault Rifles only
- Support class only (only one with smokes)
- Gadgets disabled
How to play
- After spawning, all players must hit ready before the match starts (for now, 1 player is enough for showcase purposes)
- Pre-match setup is done at Team HQ — a simple table at your team spawn
- Players can switch teams before the match begins
- Once everyone is ready, countdown starts and the match goes LIVE
- Two teams fight; first to 7 rounds wins
- If a team isn’t eliminated in a round, team health is totaled to decide the winner; if tied, no points awarded and next round starts
- Sides swap every (ROUND_TO_WIN / 2) - 1 rounds
Would love any feedback or bug reports — it’s a pretty complex setup so something might slip through :sweat_smile:
Also, the logic is pretty reusable, and I’m going to start building more maps for it now.
