Helicopter Superiority (Conquest)

A recreation of BF4 China Rising's helicopter-only Air Superiority in BF6.

Operation Firestorm, 16 vs 16 Conquest using AH-64 and Eurocopter, automatic heli spawns on deploy, HQ protection to prevent spawncamping, and a single capture point at the center of the map. Also AI backfill.

This also doubles as a helicopter flight practice server, seeing as you're always spawned straight into a helicopter, and the HQ airspace... actively discourages enemies from flying into it for easy kills.

Thanks a lot to andy6170 for the custom Conquest logic.

Gamemode is still a bit WIP, so some areas that still need improvement:

  • AIs sometimes refuse to get off the ground. May need to add some logic to force them towards the flag if this happens.

  • Loadout is locked to the Portal default (aim-guided rockets and aim-guided missile). It seems to be a Portal limitation for now? Will fix if proven otherwise.

  • The map could use more terrain for cover, I'll see about adding it at some point.

  • Depending on feedback, may increase capture point boundary. May also add more capture points if requested.
